Arnold Jones services responded quickly on Saturday to diagnose problem with our seven year old Lennox gas furnace which stopped during this cold spell. The other company who originally installed it was slammed with emergency service calls and was not able to quickly send someone even though we had a service agreement. AJS ordered parts and we will use them in the future based on their excellent quick response and accurate diagnosis of the problem with control panel.

Austin came out to service our unit late on a Saturday and even though it took several hours to diagnose the problem, he stayed positive and resolved the issue. It was so late that we expected him to come back the next day or Monday, but he was insistent that he would make sure we had heat asap. He didn't pressure us to buy extras, though we did sign up for the maintenance plan, and he resolved the issue as well as taught us more about our heating system. We've been using another local HVAC company for years. They recently let us down in a major way so we decided to try a new provider. We gave Arnold Jones Services a chance and I am so glad we did. They have been fantastic in every way.
For starters, when I called in to inquire about services, the lady I spoke with (can't recall her name) was great. She was professional, polite, and setting up the service schedule was a breeze. Two weeks later, our technician, Ronnie, showed up and the high level of service continued. Ronnie was right on time, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I gave him some quick history notes on our system and he went to work. I saw him doing more to clean and check my unit than any other technician I've ever used. He had answers for all my questions and gave us a few tips to resolve a minor issue we had been having with a sensor.
The best part was that when Ronnie was done, he told us everything looked great and that was it. Ronnie didn't try to sell us on unnecessary things! I can't tell you what a relief that was. I'm so used to service companies, be it HVAC or car mechanics, coming to you with several recommendations at the end of service that you don't really need. This practice annoys me to no end because it makes you unable to trust the provider. I don't know if I really need those things, or they are just trying to increase their sales numbers. I've been told by technicians from other companies that they were required to make at least three recommendations, whether you needed it or not. Arnold Jones Services didn't do that and I appreciate that so much. Now I know that I can trust them if they do make a recommendation in the future.

Excellent customer service! I’ve tried to find the right HVAC partner for years. Following a storm there were lots of emergency calls to repair HVAC systems in our area. The lady I spoke with explained that there may not be time that day to conduct repairs as a result. She contacted me later asking if my unit was at ground level, since several calls they ran regarded flooding could not be repaired until they dried out. I was lucky mine wasn’t and their technician (Ronnie) arrived around 4:30 ready to work. Once a programming issue was resolved Ronnie offered some standard maintenance procedures with itemized cost. Basically freon and outside unit cleaning-it was filthy. The callback and professional service provided has earned a place in my contact act list for ongoing service.

I have an older home with high velocity ductwork. Other vendors told me I would have to remove all the existing ductwork and start from scratch. They replaced an overhead light fixture in our kitchen and replaced the defective triple way switch that caused the light to flicker. They also checked out several wall outlets that we were concerned with and re-wired the receptacles for better connections. I am very happy with Arnold Jones' Services. Two days ago (2/18/2025) my AC had problem producing warm air, and I made a call to Arnold Jones. They sent out a technician, James, to check things out on 2/19/2025. James did a great job examining my heat pump and AC unit, and he found out the debris got into my AC external unit's cover and damaged some wirings, so the external unit's fan stopped working. He fixed the problem and watched for 20 minutes to ensure everything working fine before left the site. James is a highly skilled AC pro, and he diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and he also explained to me the benefits of regular maintenance. I am very happy with James' professionalism, his repair job, and the company he represents, and I highly recommend Arnold Jones Services!

They are extremely easy to work with and very ethical. Recently, our daughter was having some intermittent problems with her AC, and the tech couldn't identify the problem because it would almost magically start working when she called him out. But one morning, I contacted them when it was off again—and they rescheduled the same tech's morning appointments so he could come and catch it while it was malfunctioning. They don't try to up-sell you, and they're very helpful and trustworthy folks. I readily recommend them anyone who asks.
